Build A Box

Updated: Feb 25, 2019

reflection on my box:

1.The easiest aspect of the box was probably the wall preventing the lid from falling to far backwards. It was more or less just attaching a single Lego piece to the back of the box, and fiddling with its size, and whether I should put another piece on top of it.

2. I'd say the most difficult was building the chassis, it took me a couple iterations of trial and error before settling on the way it is built now.

3. I learned about the actual uses of the various pieces semi-unique to the EV3 kit, properly using beams, the connector pieces, (both single and double), and small tricks to use them better.

4. I would make a better locking mechanism, right now its a pole that you slide through which works, but i would like to have used a hook to latch it shut.

here is a picture of the EV3 box with the lid open

ive put the beam through the lid to lock shut the lid, so that you can move it around and upside down!
