In this challenge we had to make an entirely new box, which when opened faster than the threshold value would play a little noise, so as to make it a little game whether or not you can open it slow enough.
Reflection:
In this challenge i learned a bit more of the functionality of the wait block, an how degrees per second works with the gyro sensor.
One thing that went well was (other than the INCREDIBLY "good job" which has just the right amount of sass/sarcasm) was that i think i balanced out the D/S to make it challenging, but not impossible, its just right i think.
One thing that didn't go so well was that while the D/S with the gyro is really sensitive, and the button to turn on the program is one the button of the box. So i have to pick up the box in order to turn on the program, and since as soon as it detects a D/S over 35, it will often end before the game even begins.
I could've made it a more engaging game, or even just a better box, if i had more time and materials.
For next time i want to, like is said in a previous blog post, i want to make it more elegantly, its pretty good right now, but with things like the awkward 3X1 black piece awkwardly stuck to the lid so that it all rested nicely, or the pegs that indicate where the beam goes, it could all be much better.
